When I occasionally asked DH what he fancied I used to get 'whatever you want to get rid of out of the fridge' LOL.

I use big oven. It has a calendar where I can add my recipes or notes where I type. I add ahead when I see recipes I want to try and add ingredients to my shopping list as I go. DH also had the app so can cook ahead of me if he gets home first or do the grocery shopping, which he normally does.

I like the idea of a whiteboard and have often contemplated painting our pantry door in black board paint.

I get blank stares and then they walk away. DS is the only one who gives suggestions then it's the same everytime - chicken schnitzel and beef stroganoff. We make our beef stroganoff from an old WW recipe and it uses eye fillet so is a "special" meal but he trys for it every week.

Vegetable pies with cheese sauce
Corned beef with veggies.

I normally menu plan but atm I am using up bits and pieces so just pulling things out of every where and making meals, plus using freezer meals.
