Suggestions on thermomix delivery time
« on: May 16, 2014, 12:09:50 pm »
Hi,

I placed my thermomix order on 10th of May. After no update from my consultant I called her yesterday when she told head office has been busy and would be processing my order soon (meaning they will soon charge my cc, after charge appears there is a wait of 14 days approx). I haven't been charged as yet. It would be great if some one can tell me how long it took them to get thermomix delivered after placing order.
or should I call head office to find out if my order is placed or not by my consultant as yet?

Please help/suggest

Thanks in advance

It is only a few days since you placed your order, however 14 days after you are charged seems a long wait to me. I've had my machine for several years now so I'm sure things have changed. I do know that delivery will take longer if you aren't in WA.
Hopefully someone who has bought their machine recently will be able to help you.
Personally if I was really concerned I would give HO a call.

I think it was about a fortnight for my thermomix last year. I had my demo for the second bowl on 28th April & we haven't receive it. I know between interest free, second bowl offer, quirky jo cookbook & the April public holidays they are extremely busy.

I also have been waiting now for 6 weeks since my demo, I called thermomix this afternoon and they said it was a "until stocks last promotion" and now they are out of stock and they won't be arriving until September, but they will honour all outstanding orders. I think it is rubbish....

Yes, it is obvious that they will sell lots more bowls when the promotion is on, so they should order more in.

It doesn't give you much confidence in HO.
Have you paid for the second bowl?
I think they must have a better idea of how many they will sell as they have had this promo before.
It's ok to wait weeks during a busy time but not months.
After all you have arranged a Demo.
Bit disappointing!

I'm sorry that you have to wait. That is a very long time - 5 months.
