I haven't bought this e-book as I don't use recipes for soup. Most of the extras I have in her other books. I'll be interested to see how well this one sells.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

You are right MJ. However this is my reasoning behind my purchase. I love Tenina recipes, these are all in one collection, she is a local lady so I wish to support her, it is only $16.50, some of the recipes I would never think of making up free hand, and I have the $16.50 so why the heck not.
After that I don't really need to make excuses. For my soups I tend to throw in what is round and use lentils, barley, quinoa or whatever is handy.
I'm looking forward to Tenina's Comfort Food classes. It sounds like my type of cooking.

Anyone else who has this book without the Parmesan Cream recipe (like me) if you email Tenina        Tenina@tenina .com she will send you the link with the new recipe. Apparently some of the early orders missed out on this bit.

No Hally, I meant all the soup recipes were all together. There are a few other additions to have with or beside soup. My bad writing, sorry.  :-\

Could those with the book please check the Walnut Pesto?  My version seems to have a mystery ingredient . . . ;D ;D (I'm assuming it might be basil ???)

Yes, basil!

I saw an amendment somewhere... Must have been Facebook or Twitter.

It is a handful of basil leaves. Tenina commented that she won't be held responsible for the flavour if other leaves are used. It is on her Facebook site.

Thought I was following her  fb page . . . I'll have to look into that.  Thanks, Cookie.
I have no idea why, but all I could think of at the time was that book on punctuation, etc. . . .
