I got this recipe from my cousin in Italy, and I don’t know if it has already been posted in the forum, as I’m new here. But after looking at so many delicious recipes from you
…I wanted to contribute
Although from the picture it doesn’t look anything special…give it a try and let me know!
My husband loves it!!
Ingredients:- 1 orange (juice and zest)
- 170g soften butter or margarine
- 250g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 50g milk
- 250g flour
- 1 sachet of baking powder (~15g)
Method:Preheat the oven to 160C (the recipe said conventional oven, but mine is fan-assisted).
Place the orange zest into the TMX bowl, mix speed 7 for 10 seconds.
Scrape down sides (I usually mix it again for other 5-10 seconds).
Add soften butter, sugar and eggs, and mix speed 4 for 40 seconds.
Add milk, orange juice and flour from the MC hole, and mix speed 5 for 30 seconds. Without stopping the blades, add the baking powder and mix for few extra seconds or until mixed through.
Pour it in a lightly greased tin (I used baking paper) and bake for ~ 45 minutes.
