Very easy loaf to make, and now I can report that it tastes great too. Got. Thumbs up from DD this morning and I nicked the crust for brekky this morning- it was lovely and crunchy toasted

Made this loaf this morning but think I should have cooked it a bit longer - I did 35 mins and it was 207oF when I checked it with a thermometer.  How long did you girls cook yours for please?  Tastes great and will be used for toasting so not a problem. I would use a slightly bigger loaf pan next time because as you can see, it spilled out over one edge slightly.
Easy as, thanks Julie.

Update, had a piece for lunch with soup - it seemed cooked well enough, delicious.  How I managed to stop at 1 piece I don't know.

It looks great Judy. Another loaf to add to the repertoire.

It's nice to do something different isn't it Cookie.  I must admit I don't bake much white bread much these days and have been buying wholemeal instead.

I made this for lunch today too. And Judy, unlike you, I didn't stop at one piece. DH gobbled it too. Just don't tell him it has whole meal flour in it. He thinks the treacle makes it brown!!
Oh and I didn't add seeds as there would be no way DH would have tried it!
