Honestly I don't know what makes this bread so delicious but it just is.

Isn't it wonderful how such a little gem has come to light because of the challenge. None of us can resist a nice loaf of bread LOL.

My DH is ok with seeds but DD won't touch it. However she ate this. As you say the treacle makes it brown. ;D ;D

I love this loaf, it's so tasty.  Mine is now 5 days old and I didn't freeze it as I normally do my bread.  Still going strong, using it for toast now. It seems to take twice as long to brown up but does so beautifully in the end.

After reading all the comments on this bread I had to have a go.  I made mine yesterday and I only got to taste one slice.  The family arrived and ate the rest.  A lovely bread and I will be making it again.  Sorry, no photos I didn't get a chance to take one. :D

I made another batch of this today as we were out of bread.  It is quick and easy to make and tastes good.

Finally got around to making this today.
As I was making it I couldn't help thinking this isn't how you make bread! It sort of goes against everything I've learnt about bread baking from the forum and reading books, but it makes a really tasty loaf of bread. The texture is different from other bread I've made, but it's really quick, easy and delicious.

We had it today for lunch - chicken, lettuce & mayo sandwiches. The were lovely.
