Onto the mushroom part of the challenge for me. I made these
Cheese & Thyme Wrapped Mushrooms Not a TMX recipe but one for the air fryer or oven.
I bought a 200g pack of medium sized (or maybe small for Swiss Browns) - measuring approx 5 cms each. They say they can be frozen so I presumed once they were cooked and will freeze a couple to test that statement.
I used 1 sheet of puff pastry, cut it into 5 pieces x 6cm wide (1 cm wider than each mushroom and long enough to fold around the mushroom.
I varied the recipe by spreading 1/8th tspn Tenina's garlic paste inside the cap, adding some finely chopped spring onions and only using a piece of goats cheese 1cm thick and cut to fit inside the cap.
Baked in a preheated 200
o airfryer for 10 minutes but I would try 180
o next time. The mushrooms were cooked but the cheese didn't ooze out like the picture on the website. I would even try my favourites - camembert or brie.
Will update soon as to how they were from the freezer.
