That looks delicious Marie.
I made Chookie's SD with Rye and whole meal flour in it. It took all day to rise and then the second rise was a lot quicker by the heater. I think I need to put it in a smaller tin as it caught quite a bit. The flavour is wow though. No photo as DH cut it up and froze it while I was in the shower. I was too lazy to pull any out.  :-\

More great recipes. I will have to try the spicy cauliflower fritters. The chicken sounds good ES.
Great loaf Marie.

Great sourdough loaf Marie.

Isi's Baguettes Stuffed or Not for the challenge.

Filled 2 with turkey & cranberry sauce and 1 with cheese and garlic paste.  Left the small rolls plain.

The garlic/cheese one is super.  I didn't use much paste as my jar was almost empty which was a good thing because I would have probably have spoilt it by spreading a lot more onto the dough if I'd had it.

Marie, that looks gorgeous! I'm too scared to do a free form sourdough. I used my tin with the lid. The flavour of the sourdough is just delicious! I'm still not thrilled with the texture yet, but it's only my second loaf.
Isi's Pasta Bake is a winner. I'll be making this quite often, I think. May even try it with rice instead of pasta.

Cookie, my DH wouldn't ever think to cut up and freeze anything! I often wonder how I'd cope if he were even slightly interested in what's going on in the kitchen.  ;D

JD, you posted as I was typing. They look fab!!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Emme,  looks very good.  Glad the starter is still going.  Mine has recovered its sulk and is again bubbling away.
Judy,  the loaves look very tasty.
MJ,  keep making it.  You will get what you like in the end.  The lid on the tin does change the texture.

Emme that loaf looks positively scrumptious. Am enjoying seeing all the food photos that people have been posting. Have got one of chookies cakes planned to make for a neighbors birthday on Tuesday. it looks like I can combine 2 recipes - the lemon spread and the lemon feather cake. chookie is an absolute legend  :-*

Great looking bread Emme & Judy
I made isi's creamy chocolate pudding for dessert using Haighs dark chocolate and it was Devine. Next time I might try putting in a few drops of my Tastebom peppermint oil, or maybe some orange oil, or hazelnut. This is not good for my waistline!
