We used to own a 50 year old 33 foot timber Cruiser which was moored in Pittwater . We had some hairy trips in it but it was fine in a small boat. It is the big boats I don't much like the boat was named by out great Mexican friend Carlos . We called it Peaced and the dingy was Half Peaced.

Kerry,  poor Adrian.  What a way to celebrate your 5th. Anniversary.  Hope he is ok now.
Gert, you could have sorted me out but we were too busy talking to waste precious time on other stuff.
We also had a 30 footer.  Called a Warship.  I couldn't go on it as my gyro in my ears plays up.  No problem with the Gordon River Boat.
Katie,  thanks for the photo of that oven.  What a beauty.  No money to prevent it from ruin.  They said all the money goes to Pt. Arthur.  Might talk to them about doing some fund raising to save it. What do you think.?

Kerry I hope Adrian was able to drive once you were on shore. Thank goodness I have never been seasick. When we returned on our Gordon River trip an enormous storm blew up and it was really rough coming back. A Park Ranger came back in our wake as it was too rough for him and his smaller boat. It was very exciting.
I found Sarah Island quite emotive.

Adrian is good now, he wouldn't let me drive as he gets car sick & preferred to be the driver.

Spent a lovely day in Melbourne, Alayna went on her first tram ride & we found a art centre for kids. They were doing floor mural made out colour duct tape, we all had fun with this.

Bedlam not quite home yet, Ararat now to break up the trip for Alayna.

Sounds fun Kerry.
Late yesterday afternoon we were looking at the activity out our Hotel window when a boat exploded at the Marina . Huge flames and horrid black smoke poured into the air. No one was hurt. Like idiots we opened the door to have a good look and some smoke came into the room.  We spent the next few hours with the door into the Hotel passage open trying to remove the smell.
Should be home by 5 tonight.

That is terrible chookie.,where did that happen?,

I once saw a Tupperware boat burn to the waterline in about 10 minutes. The black smoke and smell was horrible. Luckily everyone jumped overboard and swam to shore .

Oh Chookie that would have been awful. Hope you are now home safe and sound.

We have been in Goulburn for DH's car club race weekend. Was a smashing weekend, for some more than others ;D.
No human casualties, only a few cars with some mechanical problems. The motorhome looked a bit out of place amongst all the race cars and tow vehicles and trailers. DH loves racing and of course his red car goes fast ;D ;D ;D

Goulburn is a very old city and has some beautiful old buildings (the big ram is not one of them)
