Uni your birth place is very beautiful. Thanks for sharing. The vegetables look so lovely and fresh.

Uni, looks beautiful. We wish we were there.
Ral and I have just had the shortest holiday ever. 1/2 a day.
On Sunday we set off north for 2 week in the sun. We were travelling up the Hume Highway when a car cut in sharply in front of us. Ral braked and swerved to prevent hitting him and ran into some bushes on the side of the road. We weren't hurt but our car was damaged.  No one else was hurt . Broken windscreen, broken side mirror and driving light. Also some body damage.
We are home now and still a it shaken.
What we have learnt from this experience is just how kind and helpful strangers can be.

Oh my gosh Chookie, you are right, that would be a holiday you won’t forget in a hurry!  What a shock you must have had but I am so relieved that neither of you were hurt.  Not sure if you have stopped shaking by now, but I hope so.

Any sort of accident sends a shiver up my spine, thoughts of dear friends having an accident does not make me happy!  Take care of each other and hopefully you will be able to have another holiday in the sun somewhere soon.

You are right, strangers really do come through for us when we need them - unexpected kindnesses are always so much appreciated, especially at times like these.

You two can't take a trick re holidays. Thank goodness you are fine. It is only a car and will be fixed as good as new.

I guess you will have to turn up the heat and pretend you are on hols.

What a shame.
