I was wondering how your holiday was going Chookie so this was quite a shock to read.  Thank goodness you're both OK.  Home sweet home, there's nothing like it.

Enjoy your trip Trudy.

Chookie and Ral, how awful for you both, relieved to hear you are both ok. Now for the hassle of getting your car sorted.  Hope you are both feeling ok. Xx

Thanks for the good wishes. No problem with the Insurance as we have never had an accident in 50+ years of driving.  But it will take 4 weeks to fix. We do have another car, a van.

The insurance is good news Chookie. I'm sure it is still a jolly nuisance.

Glad all will be covered Chookie.  Fingers crossed that they won't take any longer than the four days they have quoted.

Arrived safe and sound this afternoon in Vancouver.  Weather is lovely and it's nice to be in a TShirt at 8.30 at night after the cold we left behind.  We are here for a week so should manage to see quite a bit of this city before we fly to Knights Inlet to hopefully see some bears!!
