Greetings from France

Hello fellow Thermomix owners and lovers! I am Jane, also known as Madame Thermomix, former Independent Thermomix Demonstrator in the UK and author of the Thermomix recipe blog "
Why Is There Air
?" You may have seen two of my recipes in the lovely Dani Valent's fabulous books, "In the Mix" and "In the Mix 2."
I have a passion for all things food, wine and Thermomix and I have lots to share - and lots to learn! Join me on this exciting Thermomix journey to good food and healthy eating. Hop over to my blog and try some of my recipes. Don't forget to leave a comment for all of us to share! I have written a series of posts called "
Know your Thermomix
" which may help new Thermomix owners work their way around their new Best Friend in the Kitchen and maybe even refresh some old hands' memories ;-)
I now live in France and intend to run a series of
Thermomix cooking classes
so watch this forum - I'll be sure to let you know when they start. Do let me know what kinds of recipes you'd like to see and make were you to participate in a Thermomix cooking class in France. You never know, you may get there!
Happy Thermomix cooking!
Jane

Madame Thermomix! Welcome! How exciting to have you here
I too love your blog! I'd love to come to cooking classes, however I too am in Aussie so I think it might be a little too far to travel!

Thanks all for your lovely replies and warm Thermomix welcome! I'm delighted to see that my reputation precedes me LOL and that some of your already read my blog. As soon as I get off the Forum (it's already becoming a huge centre of interest for me!) I shall write up a new post on some fabulous French provenēal fougasse for your summer - or winter - eating pleasure!

Bonjour Madame et bienvenue!!
Wonderful to see you here Madame
I've been wondering how you are faring in France and if you are now a consultant there... or still a consultant in UK, or maybe both (if that's possible?). I too am a big fan of your blog, though I rarely have time to comment these days as I'm usually "breezing through" while multi-tasking and trying to remember to breathe.
Great to have you on the ground in France so you can keep us up to date with all the news from the land where Thermomix is produced

Hey Helene, great to "see" you here on the Forum, too!
Life here in France is, well, the way life should be as far as I'm concerned. We're moving house in August so I'm up to my ears in it and looking forward to settling down some more.
Keep up the stellar work on your blog and with your kitchen kits and grosses bises de la belle France !
