That was a quick response. I love our home in Guildford, however, it is Guildford in Victoria, Australia where I live!

Welcome to the Forum Jane. Glad you have joined us. I have attended 2 cooking classes in Paris, neither good. I hope you can provide something very French and TMX. I also follow your Blog.

Thanks, Achookwoman!
I'd be very interested to hear about your Paris cooking class experiences: what was good; what wasn't; what you were expecting and what you would like to get from a Thermomix cooking class and/or a non-Thermomix cooking class. Feel free to PM me. Maybe I'll even start a new thread on this topic - but I have a blog post to write first ;-)

I love checking out your blog too and especially all the French stories. Just came back from a lovely holiday over there - where are you based?

Hey, Jude, thanks for the welcome and the lovely comment about my blog
I am currently based outside of Paris in the 78 department, with a country home in the Centre of France near Sancerre. Winemaking region!! I love observing the progress and the work in the vines. Such beautiful photos to be taken - follow me on Instagram or Facebook to see more. I'm under Whyisthereair on both.
Look out for more interesting stories as in 3 weeks we move to Maintenon in the Eure et Loire, a bit farther from Paris but with its own chateau. I intend to start cooking classes there so if you are back to France again, perhaps you'd like to attend?
Are you based in Oz or in the UK? How long have you had your Thermomix and what do you like to make in it?
E-talk soon!

I live in Melbourne Australia. Had TMX just over three years
I use it for almost everything just love it. I love it so much I have given my two daughters and my daughter in law each one as I want them to cook from scratch as much as possible ( thinking of the little grand darlings). Only one actually wanted it. The other two said "would never use it".... Well I'm pleased to say that they ALL would never be parted from their machines! In fact they teach me a lot now LOL! Can't believe the change of mind two have had. I lent my daughter in law, who definitely did NOT want one, my machine when I was away... In France actually. Haha. There were tears when I came to claim it back until the new one could be delivered. I think TMX should lend out machines because I have had three people buy because they used mine when I was away at various times.
I would definitely love to come to a class and will watch out. We usually go to France every May- June but next year we have to visit my brother in Oregon
he is having a significant birthday. ... And as we run our own business we have limited get away time. This year we were in Avignon, Paris and Strasbourg with a side trip to San Sebastián. I get your FB notifications and am green with envy for your lifestyle!
