Roasted Radishes
« on: August 18, 2014, 07:19:33 am »
This is a good non salad  way to use radishes.
1 large bunch of Radishes,  washed, top and tailed.
Cut onto even size.
Place in TMX bowl, 2 seconds, speed 5. ( you want chunky lumps)
Place in baking dish with butter and sprinkle with salt flakes.
Roast until brown bits appear ion edges. ( I did this in Air Fryer)
Serve as a hot vegetable.

Sorry no photo this time,  2 piggies ate it all.

Thanks Chookie. WE have a few left in the garden. I have never eaten cooked radish.

There's not really a lot you can do with radishes so it was interesting to read what you did with them Chookie.  Did they still taste like radishes LOL.

I eat them this way as a substitute for potatoes. With a good imagination I can say that they taste like roast potatoes.  ;)

So Blessed, interesting.
Cookie, Ral doesn't like raw radishes,  but did like this.
Judy,  it seems to take some of the sting out of them.
