That cake is devine!
I have been dying to join in this challenge, but first my machine broke and I had to wait (impatiently) for it to be repaired, and then when I got it back I was too sick to cook. Today I have plugged it in and started to cook. Dad has requested apple pie (with sultanas) for Father's Day lunch, so I have tried this forum recipe http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=6237.0;prev_next=prev. I will assemble it and bake it tomorrow, and I've also made a batch of vanilla icecream to go with it.

Have you entered anything into this year's Royal Adelaide Show Sue?

No, I'm afraid not. The entries were due this week, but I was too sick to cook anything

BZB that cake is awesome.
ES there is nothing quite like apple pie and ice cream.

I converted a recipe for Salted Caramel Sauce from GT.  Stirred it through Vanilla ice cream.   Have to say it is Yummy.   Need to test recipe again as some salty lumps formed in the bottom of saucepan.  Think the cream was too thick.

DD bought a Lindt chocolate today that was salted caramel. I hope I get a tiny taste.

The apple pie and Icecream was very popular at lunch today. It's dad's favourite dessert and must have lots of sultanas or it won't pass muster. There was only one slice left for him to take home.
