Oh, that's not so bad, I was expecting more to be honest... BUT.. I have only had my TM for less than a week, so I might have to wait just a little longer I think! I was making chocolate self-saucing pudding before work today (my work mates were demanding it, along with real home-made custard), and I found a recipe where several bowls would have been great! I ended up just settling for the single bowl recipe. It was really yum, it had real dark chocolate in it (I can post the recipe in desserts if anyone wants it).

I have my demo tomorrow, and I receive the free thermoserver, only I have no idea what it is... lol

It's usually just a matter of working through the steps first in the recipe to best work with one bowl (ie grate dry ingredients first before mixing, do anything cold before you apply heat etc.)

BUT 2 bowls are VERY handy!!Now just for the second tmx  ;)

The Thermoserver is very handy. Your consultant will expalin at your demo (if not - ask!) but basically it's an insulated bowl so will keep food warm for up to 2 hours. Also great for popping your sorbet in if serving it straight away or popping it in the fridge.
For a healthier lifestyle.

Oh, that would be handy! I could have used that last night. Awesome, now I am excited about my thermoserver!

I have been rearranging recipes so I can use the same jug generally, but this recipe just had too much going on for me! I just couldn't be bothered at 6.30 in the morning haha!

Usually you can get by with one bowl - just involves more careful planning.

What exactly IS this Thermomixer I see so often mentioned (and Thermomat, come to think of it)?  We don't have these in the Uk as far as I am aware.  Could someone put a couple of photos on the forum to clarify please (a picture paints a thousand words). Thanks lots.

LOL Thermomixer is our esteemed member leader ;) ;) I think you must mean thermoserver and thermomat.

The Thermoserver is a stainless steel bowl that will keep your food warm or hot for up to two hours and is probably on available in Australia I think as I do know that Grace owns the patent for it.

The Thermomat is a silicone baking mat that has been Thermomix branded.

Hope this helps.  I am hoping that someone else may put up some pics for you as I am once again reduced to dial up speed and it would take most of the night  :o :-))

Thansk for the enlightenment. And yes, I did make a mistake with Thermomixer - should have been Thermoserver (yet another brain-f**t!) Had a look at the 'server and must say I liked the look of it; maybe I'll try to persuade Thermomix UK to market them this end. And good news about rebranding silicone mats - I'm now going to rebrand my old banger as a Ferrari.  Keep 'mixing.

If you have Indian food shops nearby then they will have a similar item - they use them for tiffins.

Some examples will be found by searching for insulated food containers http://www.clickonstore.net/insulated-food-containers-servers-gift-p-1002.html
