Hello from Hong Kong

Hi...I've been working in Hong Kong for a year and a half...the thermomix that I bought should've followed me here but it hadn't. I'll make sure I take it with me when I next go home...which is in a week's time...yay!
So, looking forward to trying out the thermomix...I've tried a couple of recipes...really simple ones. Did turn out super!
I have a query...can one use the same cooking part for say sweet and savoury dishes? Will there not be a clash of odours?
Cheers...

Welcome Laska.
The TM jug is used for all recipes. There are recipes where you can cook an "
All in one meal
" That means a sauce/soup is cooked in the TM jug while meat/fish and vegetables are steamed in the Varoma. As long as you wash everything thoroughly between recipes you shouldn't get a crossover of flavours.

Hi Laksa, welcome to the forum. I lived in HKG for several years, before hand-over, and loved it. We were in a wee village at the back of Mui Wo, on Lantau in the days before the new airport!
Hope you get your TMX over safely and enjoy cooking with it. You have certainly hit on a forum of very friendly TMX addicts so please feel free to ask questions, there is nearly always someone on here that can give you an answer in a fairly short period of time. Loads of recipes to play with and enjoy, hints, tips, ideas, even ideas of good books to read ... we've got it all.

Hello Laksa, welcome to the forum. Not long then before you and your TMX are reunited.
