hi my name is Martha and i have just bought my TM.  ;D
I'm loving my new machine and am working my way through the book.
I do have one question if somebody could me please? I was beef stroganoff recipe and wanted to make rice at the same time, but wasn't able to figure out if i could use the rice basket or the varoma.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Martha, welcome to the forum.  Rice would have to be cooked separately to the beef stroganoff, you need varoma temperature to cook rice and meat dishes are only cooked on 90 or 100o.  It's best to make the stroganoff first then the rice, allowing the flavours of the meat dish to increase during the resting time.

The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Welcome Martha. While you are cooking your rice you could put the stroganoff in the thermoserver.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Hi Martha and welcome. I'd cook the rice first and put in thermoserver whilst cooking the beef.
