Choc Honeycomb Slice

INGREDIENTS:
250g malt biscuits
4 x 50g Violet Crumble or Crunchie bars
600mL thickened cream
395g can NESTLÉ Sweetened Condensed Milk
METHOD:
• Grease and line 2 lamington pans (approx. 18x20cm)
• Place violet crumble’s / in TM bowl and crush 20secs / sp 4, set aside
• Layer biscuits over base of pans
• Insert butterfly
• Pour cream into TM bowl
• Whip cream 40 - 60secs / sp 3.5 until firm peaks form (carefully watch as you don’t want it to turn into butter) .
• Pour in condensed milk mix 5 secs / sp 3.5
• Fold in ½ crushed honeycomb reverse / sp 3 / 10secs
• Pour cream mixture over malt biscuits
• Sprinkle remaining honeycomb over top of cream mixture
• Place in freezer
• Cut into squares, store in fridge or freezer. Mine went better in the freezer they get a bit soft in the fridge.

TME I am a little confused. You say to whip the cream 40-60 seconds. Then in the next line you say to whisk the cream until soft peaks form.
Could you clarify it for me please?

It should read that the whipping and watching for soft peaks happens simultaneously. Thanks I'll update.

Yum, this is like my Giant Sandwich (from a patchwork site many years ago) only I put a little bit of gelatine in it and you can also vary the chocolate bar.

I made a half batch of these a couple of weeks ago, mainly to have in the freezer for when anyone drops by as they are eatable straight from the freezer. Really, really lovely and next time I will make the whole batch as I had half a tin of the condensed milk left over plus the biscuits etc.
