Snap Recipe app
« on: January 09, 2015, 11:23:50 am »
I have had this app for ages and use it a lot. However in the last two days I haven't been able to access it. I am devastated as I have lots of recipes there and no where else. I have learned a lesson with this happening, hopefully I can get the recipes back.
Does anyone have any clues to help please?  :'( :'( :'( :'(

I don't know. I do hope I haven't lost all my recipes as there were lots of favourites there. I am going back to good old paper.

Cookie, I have been having small problems with snap. When I search for a recipe that I know is there,  it doesn't come up. When I try again using one of the words in the title it does then come up.
I am wondering if it is my iPad.
Could you contact the Snap App people.  Perhaps Google' snap App problems'  to see what other users are doing.

I also use snap all the time, mine is fine but makes me think I should perhaps print out a folder for safe keeping.

Cookie, are you using Snap Recipe on your iPad ? If so, it may be as simple as closing the app and restarting your iPad http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201398

I'm fixed, thank you, thank you many times. My entire purpose today is emailing the recipes not on the forum or blogs to the PC and printing them. I followed your specific instructions ES, THANK YOU.
Chookie I looked on google and some people have been having trouble with Snap Recipes on IOS 8. I only have 7 but have had dramas. Thanks again. Mr Google also mentioned that people have had problems contacting the app developers. It's a pity as it is a fantastic app. I will now use it to store recipes I haven't tried and when I make them I will go back to paper. Such a pity as I love it. Perhaps I have overloaded it   :D ;D ;D

ES,  thanks also.  I seem to have fixed the problem also.  Like Chhokie I looked at the comments.  Unlike Cookie I only keep recipes that I have tried. I have enjoyed not having files of paper.

It's so useful. I have taken all my forum recipes off there and will print them. I love it as I no longer have pieces of magazine everywhere. I have decided that if I don't try something within a month then I will delete it.

Cookie, so glad it is back working for you.  Mine appears to working okay and I use it a lot but I do back it up on the computer as well especially before updating the ipad.

I found this to be a really good app but it uses too much memory on my iPad!
