As soon as mine was delivered I made a batch of the Stock Concentrate which is in the EDC - very handy and an easy beginning, so then you can go on to make lots of things that require stock. You will need some rock salt (to grind down first before starting on the stock), 200g celery, a tomato, onion, zucchini, 2 carrots, olive oil, few leaves basil, sage, rosemary, 1 bunch Parsley, bay leaf, and a clove of garlic.
After that, if you want to make for example, the Mushroom Risotto then have handy: block parmesan cheese, onion, olive oil, 500g arborio rice, white wine, 200g fresh mushrooms
Bon appetit!

How cool of you all to just get on with your life, not cancel your TMX demo etc etc I Think I'd want to wrap myself in cotton wool for a month or so to get over the trauma of what could have been
So glad to hear the people you love are safe and reasonably unscathed by this incident.

Well the delivery demo went really well
Had a great night of yummy food and lovely company.
Thanks for all the well wishes for my family. The 'what if's' have been doing my head in so I am just trying to be thankful they are both safe and well and move on
We had porridge this morning in TMX - still to be named...I have to get to know it first LOL
I am planning a big vegie shop today and will probably make some vegie stock concentrate and maybe a risotto tonight?? followed by some yummy dessert
#1 is very excited about the TMX's delivery lol
I will report back later on today *runs off to hug TMX*

Meagan, I find myself gently wiping mine down whilst it is cooking and I think to myself that I never did that with any of the other appliances - they were work horses the TMX is a friend. I would think I was crazy if it wasn't for everyone else feeling the same about their machine

I'm so glad your family are OK. A terrifying occurrence. I'm glad that you have the TMX for everyone to play with and help you have nicer things to think of. Enjoy it and we'll understand if you don't get back on the forum as you're too busy creating.
Judy, it is a worry that we're like this with our TMX's isn't it. I used my hand held mixer the other day and it was filthy, so I did wipe it down. But I agree, the TMX gets wiped when I see the spill, not months later-and I'm not a grotty house person at all. Perhaps it's because the other gadgets are in the cupboard and the TMX is on the bench?

Glad there were no long term ill effects from the accident Meagan, the TM will be a lovely distraction anyway.
Judy, it sounds like you consider wiping your TM as being akin to caressing it! Thank goodness you are in the company of like minded individuals............I mean, there was the case of that woman marrying a fairground ride the other week, at least if it had been a Thermomix she would have gotten some understanding!!!!
