I have no Thermomix heading on my iPad, it starts with the green band with Home, Help, Search, Admin buttons etc.  Good thing I have that band or I wouldn't be much help as a moderator.

I've had a query over the weekend from a member who couldn't find a recipe so I used Mr Google to find it for her which I have always found quicker.  Is anyone else having trouble searching for things?

I'm finding searching for things on the new forum layout "unique" Judy :-)) As you said it's easier still to Mr.Google it.

The ads of the RH side are still dominant on my iPad page :P And push everything to the left hand side!!!

Hi all,

Will have a look into the header being cut out on tablets and mobiles. Maybe we need to indent the Text a little to the left.

Thanks for the feedback

I love the new look forum, just wish there were more smileys - namely a drool one! Think it would get alot of use on here!  8)

I have the same problem with the ad being the dominant part of my page. It is 1/3 ad and 2/3 forum and I'm trying to read the small print. Boo hoo.  :'( :'(
Thanks for checking it MM. I use my iPad all the time for the forum. I can't curl up on the lounge with the PC but I can with the iPad.

Don't know if it's me but I am finding searching on the "new" forum  worse than before the change.

Admin & MM - there's a button down the bottom of the Home Page to go up to the top quickly but there doesn't seem to be one that goes from the top to the bottom.  Would it be possible to put one in please, it would be useful for moderating purposes and that page is quite long now.

Judy there is little button that says 'Chit Chat' and then an arrow. I use that to go up. You can also go to any section using that. It may be helpful, or may not.  :D

I have no arrow on the home page cookie.  I'll pm you to explain why I need to go to the bottom of the page quite often which is why I need a quick way to get there without taking my eyes off the screen.

I am also getting very frustrated with the ads on my tablet. I never had this before.  Whilst I do like the look of the new forum, I find the lighter print harder to read as well.  Searching for recipes does not appear to have improved at all.

I'm the same Kezza.  I use Judy's method of googling whatever I want plus thermomix forum and find it that way.  It's much easier. Black font would be kinder on my eyes!

The ad on the RH side of me screen the other day was the iinet man. His face sort of crept up the page, it was extremely disconcerting as he sort of took over.

I think a lot of us read on our tablets and the very faint black font is extremely frustrating. I get advertisements on the side and at the bottom of the page. Very distracting.

Even on the PC Courton. . . . Unfortunately, I must say the size of the font and it being so faint makes it quite a strain to read.  The ads are a bit of distraction . .  not sure if "dating" sites are the way to go here; . . .

I tried to use the search function for the first time since the 'new' forum existed. It was horrid, back to Mr Google for me.
I found that I couldn't follow a recipe with the smaller font so I stretched the iPad screen and photographed it. I was then able to follow it without any problem.
