Has anyone used the Ivory & Deene insulated bowl? Is it any good? How does it compare with the thermoserver?

Sorry Vivex,  I've not heard of that one but I imagine all insulated bowls would do the trick. Some buy them from Indian shops or Ikea and they are all muchy muchy I think. Welcome to the forum with your first posting.

Yes, I had read this post about the indian bowls and I went to 2 indian shops but didn't find any. I also googled online.  I had only read the final response with the times though, and looking through the post more thoroughly I can see now that some people mention specific brands/shops. That might be helpful. I will continue stalking ebay and gumtree in the hope of getting the real thermoserver as well :)

I live in Tuart Hill (northern suburb of Perth). I would really appreciate the name of a shop around my area! Cheers

The stores I've seen them in are in Willetton as I live south of the river. You could try this website https://www.desimarket.com.au/find/indian-grocery-stores/wa/perth  as it lists a lot of stores and you could give one a ring to see if they have the insulated containers.

Vivix as Bonsai said there are lots south of the river. I went into 3 Indian stores and they all had things similar to the thermoserver. They don't look the same, but are an insulated like the thermoserver.

There is a big Indian store at Osborne park I'm pretty sure I saw them there awhile ago.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Haven't found any lids as of yet but I'm hopeful!

These are the ones I've found which closely resemble the thermo servers

I love the shape of some of the bowls on that site. They would look lovely on the table.
