Outdoor Kitchens

Does anyone have a outdoor kitchen as well as their normal kitchen.
I am .looking for ideas. I have heaps of space on my deck, have water / power already.
I am thinking of any sites for benches ect, a new BBQ, and I am buying the Tandoor as well.
We do lots of casual entertaining, and the time is right to expand.
Thanks

Obbie we don't have one but did look at building one a few years ago and I found lots of inspiration on pinterest. Places like BBQ galore had a lot of different configurations. I think the most important things for us were a good area for washing/cleaning up and a small fridge.

Robyn if you look in catalogues like Harvey Norman, Domayne etc they actually have plans already done for you. Bunnings have them set up too. A couple of our neighbours are Asian and use their outdoor kitchens a lot. They are quite beautiful. Professor Google would show you some too.

We have a separate pool house and have a kitchen out there. I have a huge bbq, fridge, sink and dishwasher. I also have cutlery, crockery and serving items so I don't have to traipse back and to the house.

It's brilliant in Spring and Summer. We also put in a full bathroom - toilet one end, vanity & dressing area in middle then a huge walk in shower down the other end. Means that when people come over to swim or even if the kids are outside playing they can get to a toilet / wash their hands easily. Then I replicated my 6m long pantry inside the house and have another in the pool house - this time with no shelving so I can store all the pool floats and cushions for the outside lounges etc.
