Fathers' Day. Did you make anything special?
« on: September 06, 2015, 06:35:07 am »
I was wondering if you made any changes in your Sunday evening meal to cater for Fathers' Day. I asked DH what he wanted and he has requested home made burgers. ( we never have shop bought ones anyway ???). I'm making the hamburger buns this afternoon and the rest is easy.

Cookie, nice to have an easy to please man. If we were staying home I'm sure my DH would want hamburgers also, we have to pick up a Company Exec from the airport, deliver him to hotel then on to DD's for GS's Birthday.

I deleted the post Judy, as the photo which I posted in Tapatalk seemed huge. I didn't want it to cause problems.

I made Tenina's strawberry white chocolate mousse tart for dessert at the in-laws.

I think the previous problem was only because Chookie posted 2 large photos in the one post girls.

As we had a big lunch out with the children, DH requested risotto. So I made pea and roast pumpkin risotto. Will probably make arancini balls with the leftovers.

That tart looks delicious Katie, I haven't seen that recipe.  I made Teninas Lemon cloud recently, it's worth trying too.

Yum Katie.  How did you get the photo small?
I cooked 7 hour roast lamb with veggies steamed in TMX and mashed potatoes. Followed by Frying pan Lemon tart.

Chookie still using my iPad I logged into the forum using Safari and used the "attachment and other options" to choose my saved photo. I didn't have a choice of photo size.

I deleted the photo I'd previously posted using Tapatalk as it was huge. Tapatalk is annoying me lately and I might stop using it altogether.
