Nothing scary here yet cookie, it will probably wait until I go to bed so that it keeps me awake.

We have had some heavy rain and thunder but now seems to have left us here!  Thanks for your thoughts.

All clear here now.  Hope none of you in Whyalla & Port Lincoln were effected by the flooding!!!  The paper this morning wasn't very accurate!  Port Pirie where I am from had a huge amount of rain and it wasn't even reported!!!

It seems country areas fared the worst Trudy, it was very mild here. They say there's more for tonight so it will be interesting to see which areas cop that.

I hope your family are ok Trudy. We were supposed to have dreadful storms here over the weekend and they fizzled out and we only got a bit of rain.
I'm glad you didn't get the rain the radar showed as it looked extremely heavy.

They had three inches of rain in Pirie Jean and it's still raining.  I feel sorry for the farmers as so many crops were ready to harvest.  They now won't get the returns they should.  Mum just had one leak in a verandah - another job for Wayne!!!  Port Lincoln had quite a bit of flooding and they are expecting the river to flood in Murray Bridge.  Strange for this part of the year.

Adrian & have a joke that there is a turn here sign for rain once its gets Adelaide.  Haven't caught up with my family to see how they go but I know my cousin was getting ready to harvest (near Pt Lincoln) & not what they wanted.

Oh no kmw, that's awful. Rain at harvest time is the pits.

I see where Melbourne and lots of Victoria have had heaps of rain. In today's paper here we had farms with dams that are dry, not good. Just before FF a group of farms in a different part of the state lost their crops with hail. Farming is hard enough without the weather going against you.
