Oh Yum! This is a delicious pie.DH and I love it.I served it with mash potatoes and steamed brussel sprouts.Although is says it serves four (they would be huge servings) I only used about 1/3 of the cooked filling to make the pie for us and it was plenty to eat.You could make your own puff pastry but the recipe suggests using bought puff pastry.
No photo as my cooked pie looked very ugly LOL

Another recipe from this book that sounds lovely. I'm sure it wasn't really ugly!

I've got a dish I call dog food pie. It's really a basic cottage pie but it looks gross. Tastes good though!

I sort of made this pie for dinner tonight. I made the filling, but instead of a frozen puff pastry lid I made my own pastry using a Paul Hollywood recipe.

For the filling I didn't quite have 600g of chicken or quite enough leeks, so I added a zucchini as well. I thickened the sauce with a bit of corn flour, as I wanted the filling to be thick as I didn't only put a pastry lid on it I made a full pie.

The pie was delicious and we both enjoyed it. It's a very easy recipe to make.

I used a new pie dish I bought a couple of weeks ago, it has little holes all over it to help the pastry cook.

I cook like that, I might be missing something and have to quickly devise a solution. It's good, because you can be creative.

Made this pie today. Used thigh meat not breast. Cooked the filling for an extra 15 minutes. Easy to do with the chip. Just press the reverse arrow and when time is up, then press next.
Turning this mixture into pies for dinner.
