Might have to see if TMX Australia will import some.  Couldn't get them from Spain.  May have to ask bron or MM to organise a bulk posting.

Obviously only for drinks, but what little kid wouldn't like one of those.  I don't know what she was saying as I couldn't get her to speak English and the video was buffering but I got the gist of it. How about the size of the doll ??? ???

Bit pricey, they could use the real thing for their smoothies (under guidance if too young)

Would probably cost even more here as i have just contacted Perth to check on some new bits and pieces - decided to get a new butterfly for desserts and a new spatula too.  The basket for inside the Thermomix is $45 here but only 5 € in Spain !!

Didn't think postage was that expensive!!!!  My Granddaughter would love one of those machines.  She's 5 but seems to think she is an expert on her Mum's machine!!!!

Have emailed Grace to see if we can get some in time for Christmas - but haven't had a response yet.

I looked on ebay for the price in Germany and it retails at around 70 - 120 Euros.

Technical details (found on a German site):

- apparently the timer actually works
- the temperature buttons light up just like the real TMX
- there are three speeds that you can choose from
- the scales can be switched on, but they don't actually work
- you can put 300ml of liquid in bowl to mix
- it beeps just like the real TMX

At the risk of sounding a spoil-sport here, I personally think that 70 Euros for a piece of plastic that can stir 300 ml of liquid is totally overpriced. The "blade" in the video looked very flimsy. instead of buying this for one of my children, I'd rather spend the money on a cookery course for children, so that they first learn to cook properly.

You spoiled sport  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)  I like your suggestion - maybe even real cooking things - their own cake/baking trays, cookie cutters
