Ideas for old TM31 bowl
« on: July 30, 2018, 11:19:57 am »
Hi. I recently had to replace my TM31 bowl but now am wondering what to do with my old broken one. Any creative "green" ideas of how to repurpose or dispose of it?

Hi Roo, welcome to the forum.  Is your bowl completely beyond repair?  If so then perhaps you could plant some herbs in it and it could keep on serving you.  I’m sure someone will come up with an ingenious idea but that’s all I could think of off the top of my head.

Hi Roo.  That is what I thought of too Judy. Put some mesh over the hole from the blades and plant in it.
Do let us know what you decide to do. I will be very interested.

I am with Judy and Cookie, there, Roo, a plant pot sounds to be a good option.  Although it may not be deep enough another idea might be to used it as an 'implement' container, i.e. put wooden spoons, spatulas, etc. into it and keep it handy on your bench so that you don't have to dive into a drawer whenever you need something.

Thanks. That’s what we thought of too. A friend suggested a local repair cafe too.
