How exciting that you have ordered a thermomix, you will love it.
A good piece of advice is to keep using it for a couple of weeks, initially you may have some failures, just peresevere and all will be well.
This forum is always good for help and advice.

I have 2 slider boards from different sources.  They are not really necessary as long as you remember not to drag your machine without them as it will effect the scales. I prefer one of mine over the other but existed for about 8 years without one.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Glad to hear you did order a Thermomix Kayemaree. I don’t have or need a slider board.

Welcome to the forum and I am sure you will love your thermomix.

I have never used a slider board and I have had my TMX for many years.  I haven't really seen a slider board in use, but I would always be concerned that my TMX might simply slide away ...  perhaps go with Cookie's suggestion or see what other forum members have to say.

I have an old slider board in fact it is a large tile with a material on the underneath. I need to move my Thermomix all the time just for space . It’s great and only moving it an inch still works well .

I have a tile slider board and need to move my Thermo frequently. The slider works very well and saves me lifting the Thermo and protects the feet and scales. I would recommend a slider.
