This recipe came from a very old PWMU recipe book.
1/2 cup mashed potato
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup mixed fruit
1/2 cup milk
1 1/4 cups SR flour
Pinch salt
Mix the potatoes and sugar to a liquid, add milk and flour alternately and finally fruit.
Bake in a moderate oven for 30 mins.
Can be iced with plain icing if preferred.
