Soon to be TM21 (with Varoma!) owner from Baltimore, MD, USA
« on: September 17, 2009, 06:52:34 pm »
I was so excited to finally find a used TM21 being sold here, since we can't get the TM31's unless we order it from Canada. The current owner is going to demonstrate it to me on Sunday, but I am really excited about finding new recipes. I found the conversion chart here , but was hoping that someone might be able to enlighten me on the other differences between the TM21 and TM31. There is almost nothing on the internet about it! I had to struggle to find this conversion chart also.

Glad you eventually found it Scrappy ;) ;) ;)  Hi and welcome to our forum.  Let's hope you can get all the help you need here.  Don't know how many of our members have the TM21 but there must be someone out there who knows a bit about it.  Good luck and happy cooking.

Welcome Scrappy. I saw a TM21 at head office and it looks quite different. Have fun and share the 'happenings' with us.
Have you looked in the section of this forum that tells you about modifying recipes between TM21 and TM31?  It's in Questions, doubts and requests.

Hi & Welcome Scrappy.  I'm pretty sure that the UK site has a cook book for sale for the TM 21.  Perhaps you could drop them a line.  I have found them very helpful in the past.

Hi Scrappy,

There are a lot of  TM21 owners on the Italian web site www.bimby.mastertopforum.com with recipes for TM21 ans TM31. You will need to download the google translator or similiar to get the gist of it if you don't speak Italian. Same with the German site which is www.rezeptwelt.de. There are a lot more TM21 in Europe. Hope that helps.

Welcome - there is info on the web about differences between the TM21 and TM31 - but mainly in foreign languages.

The psot at http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=109.0 has the same info as you found.

As gretchen says - the Italians have many TM21 recipes.

Ooh, the seller's sister wanted it instead so I don't get to buy it  :'(.
I'll keep looking, was really hoping to get this one for a good price.

Buy a new one from Canada - it is really worth the money - I think much superior to TM21.

I agree.  I really liked my TM21, but I LOOOOOVE! my TM31.  I know it costs more, but you won't regret it, trust me.
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!
