newsletters? after sale service?
« on: September 20, 2009, 03:55:42 am »
I've noticed through there are a few consultants who provide free newsletters to customers.  For those with consultants who don't have the same follow up service, are there any consultants who are happy to share their news with others?

Just thinking laterally .....

You are very right with that. I am on the email list for about 6 consultants, but there is only one who has sent anything in the last month.  Not sure if I have dropped off their lists.

BUT - may talk to HQ - there are apparently some who send monthly updates with a new recipe and tips.  Some people are just better at doing that sort of thing, WHY NOT - use the pool of consultants to send info/ideas to HQ and have them collate a "newsletter" with 2-4 pages of ideas and recipes.

Everybody thinks - "It is too bloody difficult to put a newsletter together"  - but if the task was shared then each consultant would only need to contribute a little bit.

I am happy to be included on any consultant's email list to receive news and it "costs" them no more to include me.

So, may have to send an email to Mandy.

You haven't dropped off my list Thermomixer I just haven't gotten around to it this month sorry!!  You are right that it would be easier if we could band together & do something taking it in turns.  Was planning on doing something this weekend - just a function of time.  It's a bit intimidating sending to you however as you are on all the forums/sites for Thermomix & beyond so I feel anything I can provide is very rudimentary.

I wasn't even aware that the Head office site sends out recipes once or twice a month - what sort of cyber-dinosaur am I????

Oh bugger - have you subscribed at http://www.thermomix.com.au/01-contactus.html - tick the Newsletters box down the bottom.

Your consultant should have made sure - but they had my email address wrong somehow for months.

I put any of my contacts who want to on my own mailing list, with recipes from my blog.  It's really good for people who are new to TMX, as it gives them plenty of ideas; and for those who don't have a TMX yet, it makes them realize how much easier cooking with the TMX is, and keeps it all fresh in their mind.  I often get emails from non-owners who are amazed at what you can do with the TMX, and say they're saving all my recipes so that 'one day' they can get a TMX to use them with!  :)

Sounds like there are a few people happy to share.
Can you add me to your mailing lists?  cathybenson79@gmail.com
Thanks!

Thermomixer - I also think it would be great if some of the demonstrators got together and did a newsletter.  Although I've already purchased, I'd definitely 'refer a friend' to anyone who offered after sales service  ;) ;).

Just ask her if she has received anything and contact Mandy on the 1800 004 838 numer to see if her correct details are on the list.

Other consultants may know if they can go that sort of thing throught the consultant login on the Website home page?

Okay, I'll do that!  (But don't expect anything for a week or so, as I'll be at a camp all next week, then we're moving house!)  :)

I do a newsletter, started montly but found that it was time very time consuming coming up with new useful recipes, tips and ideas ever month. Now I do one ever couple of months.  I add a alert thingy so it lets me know when the email has read. Only about 20% of customers who requested to be on my mailing list actually read it so I often wonder why i bother spending the hours doing it!!!

sheree, when you send the read request it actually asks the person if they want to let yo know it's opened or not - they can choose not to let you know ;) so you might find more are reading it thatn you think!
