Three years ago I was pushed towards the other side of the medal, I had head surgery because of a tumor. That knocked me out of the work process, but gave me a new start in life.I use to work with special needs children and adults with major neurological problems. Now I´m home, managing this houshold , I got the little white dog (in my avatar), to keep me trained an moving .

I used to work for a local government here in Tropical Qld - my life was all about rules and regulations. Then 8yrs ago my eldest DS was diagnosed with a rare tumour with miniscule chances of survival. He has defied the odds in ways beyond comprehension and next month he will be 5 yrs in remission... not bad for a child who wasn't supposed to survive 2 yrs! My second DS also has numerous developmental delays so I am convinced that SAHM is where I'm meant for be a little while yet... and I'm blessed beyond belief to know I can!
The nice thing about this forum is that everybody is helpful no matter what your style of cooking. No one is diminished or marginalised because they are a vegan, vegetarian , raw food addict, has Crohns, Celiac, or any other special dietary needs or wants. Gourmets, gourmands and gluttons are welcome. Those who are hopeless cooks are as welcome as our star chefs. The one thing we all have in common is our Thermomix and our willingness to share. We are all stars cookie.Gretchen
