Was really hoping to make Tenina's book signing at Garden City on Saturday but that was the only time I had available all week to get my TMX delivered!! I figured that it was more useful to me as I wouldn't be able to cook anything out of Tenina's book without my TMX :)

Did anyone from here get to go?

Ordered for foods sake and quick fix both online with free postage, they are going under the tree for me though so will be a while before I get to try out recipes.

Tenina just want to take this opportunity to say that I was gifted For Food's Sake today and what a treasure.  ;D

Love it and can't wait to cook from it.

Thank you soooo much  :)

Oh my goodness!!!! My husband has just given me a present...He bought me Quick Fix in the Thermomix! I am so excited (can't you tell from all of the exclamation marks???!!!)

I've had such a stressful past 6 months, as my baby was found to have a few problems at the 20 week ultrasound. He is now 5 weeks old and is on a few medications, but hopefully everything will turn out for the best) So hubby has bought me this wonderful present to enjoy as he has just gone back to work this week. (I've got three children, 4 years, 2 years, and a newborn...so him going back to work was a bit terrifying!!!...but I'm coping at the moment!!!)

Anyways, just had to share with you my newest cookbook and I'll be leaving some reviews as soon as I find time to cook! (i've just made the banana and coconut bread so will leave a review for that soon too!

Now I only need to buy "For Food's Sake" and I'll be set! I think that one will have to go on my Christmas wish list! ;D

I can't wait to cook tea tonight!!! Miso chicken is up there as a priority to try first! (just need to buy some miso!)  :)

That's great news blackwood. Good luck with copying with the three kids on your own, that's quite a handful.

Blackwood how thoughtful of him.  I hope your worries are almost over.

TraceTrace if I had been home I would have gone in to say hi to Tenina. I am lucky as my book is already signed. It makes them so special.

Blackwood, your hubby has done very well to give you this fabulous book as a gift.  I've only had my TMX for less than 3 weeks and although I now have the EDC, Tenina's 'For Food Sake' and Alyce's 'Quick Fix in the Thermomix', QFITT is the one that has inspired me to try new dishes.  It is a great book.  Enjoy!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, he is a sweetie...and very thoughtful!  ;D  I'm a lucky gal!

I received some great news from my bub's paediatrician today...one of the problems he has was that his kidneys have been enlarged since the 20 week scan...well, he had another ultrasound yesterday and it showed that his kidneys have now gone back to normal! Yay..i can finally stop giving him the antibiotics that he's been on everyday since he was born!

On a cooking note...I am just living QFITTM...like all of you guys, I can just sit down and read it like a novel!

Looking forward to posting some reviews of the recipies.
