G'day from WA
«

Hi Thermomixies
I'm a newbie Thermomix convert. Had ours for about a month now and have barely scratched the surface of what this wonderful machine can do... I'm a Vicco living in Perth at the moment with my wonderful wife (who does all the cooking and Thermomixing).
We've tweaked the book's Strawberry Daquari (sp?) recipe which I'll post once we're totally satisfied with it. We'll also be working on the perfect Eggs Benedict setup.
Looking forward to swapping info and living the Thermo Dream
Cheers,
Scummy

Vicco is down in the south-east corner of Australia - the best place in the world - God's own country
WA is Western Australia - the big western one-third of Australia - lots of dry, barren country with a little town of Perth about 3/4 of the way down the coast. They are almost considered foreigners because we have a wonderful big desert between us to stop them coming and enjoying our part of the world
We are friends - but in sport we are very much rivals.

Hi Scummy and welcome. Don't take any notice of Thermomixer as it's obvious that WA is better than the Victoria because so many Victorians are moving here. Just joking Thermomixer. I luuuuv Melbourne.

Yes, Alioop, I must tell myself he is just baiting us. Melbourne can't be tooooooo bad as I love going there and all over our wonderful country. But I must concede we were well beaten in the footy this year.
Welcome Scummy from another loyal West Aussie. I hope your enjoying our state. I'm looking forward to reading some of yours/your wifes recipes.

Okay,
sounds like nothern Germany and Bavaria
. We donīt have a desert in between, but a language problem.
The say they talk German
.
I donīt understand them when they talk
.
It was very funny, I spend 3 weeks in Rehab with my kids 3 years ago. There were 50 women with kids, a lot of them from Bavaria. We laughed our souls out, because we had to explain so many terms and literally hat to translate for each other. *rofl*

You sound terribly sane Scummy - go to the West for the weather & retain ties with the south-east for the culture.
& before the rest of you start "throwing" things at me - remember I am a Pom.............
