New Melbourne Australia
« on: October 11, 2009, 11:37:02 am »
Hello, I have had my thermomix for 3 weeks.  After my demonstration I had no hesitations in purchasing for our young family.  I am continually trying to buy preservative and additive free foods from the supermarket shelves which is quite challenging in itself.  I love everything about the thermomix and know that I am preparing wholesome, healthy foods for my family.

Looking forward to becoming the new Masterchef in our house.
Michele

Hi Michele
You're in good company here, lots of young families trying to take back control over what their kids eat, including me.  I'm thrilled at my new found power :P.

And my eldest (4.5) thinks she's a masterchef in our house.

Hi Michele, Not only the young ones want to take control over what we eat us oldies too. Back to what OUR grandmothers ate. Best thing I ever bought. You will love it.

Hi Michele

I am also new to this site and in the process of trying to decide if I should or shouldn't buy a TMX. What sort of things have you made for your kids? I have 4 kids 7,5,3,1 and would love for them to have treats like their friends do but I don't want them to have all the preservatives and additives.

Welcome Michele. I am sure you will get lots of pleasure from your TMX when you can make your family lovely healthy food with no additives or preservatives.  Like all of us.

Hi Michelle,

I am yet another mum with a young family, also trying to limit the amount of carcinogens, stimulants, allergens, etc that my kids eat.  This is easier with the Thermomix and even easier with all the recipes for TMX versions of popular kids snacks that are in the cookbooks & on this forum.

Welcome to the forum.
