Hi Cheryl - welcome
We've had a few discussions about cleaning the bowl and blades - most of them under the tips and tricks section on the main page here. I have found a great way to go if I have any queries is to do a search first at the main page (there's a search box under your user info at the top of the page) using a few key words and checking for past discussions - usually find what I'm looking for there and then if you can't find what you're looking for... post away!!
Everyone is really friendly here and happy to help.
Look forward to hearing about all your creations
