Newbie from Orpington
« on: October 17, 2009, 02:01:36 pm »
Hello everyone.  i have just got myself a Thermomix as my Birthday/Christmas present. New to all this and haven't got a clue how to start.

My sister , who lives in Adelaide told me about her new toy , so I got myself one.
I hope I will have time to use it to its full capacity.  My consultant CarolineW. is very good so I am sure I will do well.

Hi Catherine, welcome to the forum.  You will get lots of good advice from CarolineW and I bet she is the one who put you onto this site for inspiration. Is your sister on the forum too - I also live in Adelaide.  Spend a bit of time checking out our recipes - there are so many here to choose from.  Have fun and I'm sure you will make the time to use the machine to its fullest capacity. It becomes very addictive.

Welcome to the forum, Catherine.  Nice to see you here  :)  I know you'll find lots of support and good recipes.  Can anyone tell Catherine where the newbie tips thread is, please?  I can't remember what it's called, where it is, or who it was who first posted the list! (my brain  :( )
As my picture shows, I've suddenly become younger :-)  DD was of the opinion that her picture should be here, not mine!

Welcome Catherine it is lovely to have you here.  I still find it amazing that we can 'chat' to people on the other side of the world. Enjoy your machine, but take care, most of us on here seem to suffer from an addiction to the machine and this forum. Probably because it is so lovely and friendly.

Welcome Catherine - it's great to see another UK Thermomixer on here.   Hope you have loads of fun and success with your new machine.

This is the perfect place to be to find some fantastic recipes and also to ask absolutely any question, regardless of how stupid it may seem to you  ;D  I've done it loads of times and have always got brilliant and helpful answers
