Hi to all thermie fans
« on: October 18, 2009, 05:09:16 am »
Hi all,
Well this is my first post on this forum, but I have been stalking your pages for a little while now  ;)
A few lovely ladies from another food forum I frequent, are responsible for educating and directing me towards the tmx, and your very dedicated site.

I am expecting mine to arrive this coming Thursday, and am very excited.
I will be frequenting your fabulous site, and no doubt will pick the brains of some of you  ;) I hope you don't mind? :D

Cheers,
Maddy. x.o.

Hi Maddy

We all pick each others brains, and learn so much in the process.  I am enjoying cooking more now as I try others recipes and am constantly inspired.

It won't be long and you'll discover a tip to share back to other users of the forum.  Hope you enjoy the experience

Thanks Gretchen and Cathy.
My cooking journey at this point needs a little more inspiration, so the timing is perfect.
Looking forward to reading from you all and learning.

P.S......Still trying to figure out how to get my avatar on my profile  ;)  Not as clever as I thought! ;D

Hi Maddy, welcome to our fabulous forum.  Hope you have plenty of spare time on your hands because you are going to need it with all the cooking and reading you are about to do.  We don't mind stalkers as they eventually see the light and come on board to join us. Hopefully the story of your life (coulda, shoulda, woulda) will change to tried it, loved it and will continue to do it ;) ;) Come back when you get your machine and let us know how you are getting on with it won't you :D :D

Thank-you for your warm welcomes  :)
I believe you, when you say a bit of time will be spent here.......not that I should be spending even more time in front of a screen.....but it is for good reasons  ;)

JulieO....good to meet you here now, it's like bumping into an old cyber friend (lol)

Well I better scan over some more of your recipes, and get ready to stock the pantry!

Cheers,

Welcome to "our" forum - a bit smaller than the other one, but lots of TMX fun.  Hope you enjoy your machine more than I enjoy mine  ;) ;) - if that is at all possible.

Welcome!! No doubt you've made loads of goodies already with your new TMX! Tell us how it's all going.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Good thanks meganjane.  After my initial trepidation.....I am having some fun!  Boy....it doesn't take long to over chop though :o Lesson learned  ;D
So baby steps with some basics, and so far the only thing that I didn't like was the mayonnaise  ??? Just didn't taste right to me.
Anyways, reading up on everything that is here and looking forward to trying  new things.

Cooking now seems fun again  ;)
