Phillippa's Fig & Anise Sourdough Bread
« on: October 28, 2009, 12:38:02 pm »
Would anyone know how to make this bread?

I buy the 400g loaf and it costs around $6 - the ingredients on the bag are unbleached wheat flour, water, figs, aniseed, sea salt and fresh yeast.

Thanks!

Sorry, meant to reply to the other thread that you made this request.  Don't have Phillipa's recipe, but there are recipes including Nancy Silverton's online.

One example is at http://www.cookingbread.com/classes/class_fig_anise_bread.html

You are a wealth of knowledge Thermomixer. This site looks exciting.
