No, it is only 10 minutes walk away.  Only walking because I'm not allowed to drive for a couple more weeks Thermomixer and it is the nearest place I can take my dear old Mum for her 87th birthday.  DIL is coming down to push Geoff, not allowed to do that yet either. I might even have my first alcoholic drink in weeks, no one told me I can't  ;) ;)

2 steps forward, 1 step back.  Not with me, I'm progressing as expected but not only did DH have a chest infection when he came home but he was also in the early stages of a bladder infection.  I thought he was too sick for just a chest infection and had asked them to send a sample off just before he came home.  Results back in today and luckily I have the correct antibiotic on hand for this problem (all ready to take on our cancelled cruise just in case they were needed).  Just means he will be weaker for another week or so.  It never rains but it pours around here.

Totally not surprised Judy. Typical non care with untrained staff. Soap box needed. One day at a time. Bummer times10.

Just read post about Geoff.  Chin up, at least it is something that can be treated.   What you need, is to do a little T.M cooking.    Glad you are feeling a  lot better.     Best wishes to both of you.

Bladder infections seem to be a common cause of problems and slow lots of oldies down.  MrsT is often checking those who slow down for cystitis.  Sure the antibiotics will control it - with some good tucker.

Would probiotics be beneficial for Geoff here too JD?

I always dose my kids up on them when they have to have ABs... :-*
