Thanks to all!

Thanks to all who post recipes!

It takes time to figure out a recipe and scribble down notes (or not) and then make sure it works and then type it out here on the forum. And it's thanks to all those who make time for doing so, that we have such great resources available here.

I for one, do more reading than writing on this forum, and I know there are others who read here and who don't even register. But without those who register and take time out of their busy days to post a recipe or comment -- we wouldn't have such a great bank of advice to rely on. So I'm gonna get maudlin here and say "PAT YOURSELVES ON THE BACK all you recipe writers!!!" Thanks for giving us a constant stream of ever-changing reasons to play in the kitchen with Bimby. I think one of the reasons Thermomix is so popular is because there's a great big 'family' around it that helps each other so well.

Thanks to all who contribute here.

What a lovely post ThermomixBlogger. Thank You!!! I would also like to thank all recipe writers, who are the creme de la creme of this forum.

I am sure that more and more will contribute to new recipes in the future.

A very happy admin :-)

I must agree with above comments.  Without this blog, I'd be stuck with just EDC and scared of trying new things.  It is so inspiring to read everything others are making.

I'm particularly stoked with how the reviews have been working lately.  It's fantastic to see how others have enjoyed and adapted recipes to their own needs.

Thanks to all the great recipe writers and photographers!  And also to all the GL's who are willing to adopt us all and provide news.  I'm sure your extra helpful attitude must be rewarded in sales.

You are so right with what you have said.  This forum is full of such kind and generous people just look at how caring people have been once they knew Judy was sick.  I have learnt so much from the postings and made some really great friends!!!
So thank-you everyone!!!!

Too true TMB - I have been a reader more than a writer of recipes of late - just too many other things happening and not enough time in the kitchen.

Hope to get back to writing soon.

TMXer, you are one of our helpful stars.

I can only agree with all the above. People on here feel like friends and in fact become friends especially when we have get togethers. It is a group effort and I think EVERYONE (yes everyone) should take a deep and graceful bow.
Thanks you friends and fellow TMX lovers. There is something about this machine. Look what it has done to us all.(in the very nicest way)

Nah, I was always this nice!  :D ;)

I agree though... huge thanks to all, I'm getting braver with my experiments!  ;D

Ha ha - loved your response Ceejay! (ROFL)

Of course, we were all this nice before, but those who own one know the power of the machine and I for one, do NOT mention this fact to people who don't own one because it just sounds too far-fetched. Yesterday I had a TEARFUL :'(  phone message left on my machine by a woman who bought Thermomix after reading about it on my blog. She hadn't even had a demo, nor seen it in real life, but went for it, based on what she read. She tracked me down and called in tears because of the positive effects of Bimby on her family. Her children (formerly indifirent to everything) now consider her to be a culinary 'goddess' and they rave about their mom to their friends. They actually hover in the kitchen - just because. Her relationship with her teen-agers has truly improved because she herself is happier in the home and having so much fun. These rewards are intangible and are also unbelievable to those who don't own one. But to those who do, we understand, do we not? I think anyone who owns the machine can hear her comments to be quite plausible. But to others, we come off sounding crazy.

Who would have thought that you or I would sit down and make notes by hand and then by computer, and then retry the recipe over and over again for the sake of a few loaves of bread or a pot of soup? Many of us are parents and we are crazy busy with other priorities, yet we come here to commune -- with integrity and dedication -- all because of a piece of machinery. I suppose it's not all that surprising because there are antique car clubs out there, and computer clubs doing the same kind of thing (idolizing their machines), but I think for those of us who spend much of our day in the kitchen, this comes as a surprise.

So yes, we appreciate each other and I appreciate all the time people take to post for each other's benefit. I encourage anyone who hasn't tried it yet, so do so. Go register and join the legions of nutty Thermomix forum members who will embrace you and all your culinary exploits. It's FUN!!!  :o ;D :-*

Well thank goodness for ThermomixBlogger and all the other bloggers who promote the Thermomix giving us a wealth of information we might not find elsewhere. One blog leads to another and all the links join up and  soon people realise how wonderful this machine is. It is bringing people from all over the world from all walks of life and with all sorts of skills together in a very nice way. I am sure Vorwerk must be proud of all the contributors who make such an effort on their behalf.

I love to contribute to forums like these because so many wonderful people are here! I learnt so much when I first became a member that it's only natural to give back. It's nice to know that it's appreciated. I appreciate everyone's contributions too!! :-*
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Hope some peolpe in Balcatta read these comments  ;) ;) ;)

Oh and congratulations MJ on joining the other side  ;) ;) ooooooopps - wrong Meagan!!!!!!!!  - at least they did seem to be the "opposition" in the past - but now the forum is almost better represented by (smart, informed) demonstrators than simple users such as me.  Hope you have fun with your new business - you are certainly enthusiastic and keen.  Good luck

I have to second that comment made by Trudy, especially in regard to me.  When I tell people about the postings they just can't believe it but we all have one very special forum here and it is nice to see it continuing to grow with new members from around the world, all as wrapped in the TMX as we are. I have unfortunately missed a few new members and I will take this opportunity to welcome them to our little world - our big, happy, caring family.  We are all here for each other and I for one cannot convey just how much that has meant to me these past couple of weeks. It will be a while before I get back to cooking but it will happen.  Thanks again everyone, love you all.  :-* :-* :-*
