One more Aussie
« on: November 09, 2009, 03:47:03 pm »
Hi

I just bought myself a Thermomix for my Xmas pressie.  Saw a demo about 12 months ago and thought nice if I had some spare cash.  Well time came for a new blender and the one I wanted was expensive so the Thermo won out.

Haven't had enough time to play with it yet but do have some specific questions which I will post in the appropriate places.

I'm a wheat free vegetarian half way to raw and need scaled down recipes for one.

Tried the risotto recipe and will be eating it for a week now  :o

Looking forward to lots of discoveries here.

Cheers
Heather

This year's christmas present will definitely not end up at Cash Converters!  Enjoy it.

Thanks everyone.

Yes I do tend to buy myself some pretty good Xmas/birthday pressies.  Well they are the only ones I get and YES I am worth it.

Can't wait to get stuck into the huge list of Vege recipes. But sadly no time for the next couple of days.  Going to a haloumi/mozzarella making workshop in Melbourne. Hmn love my food.   :D

Best Chrissie pressie you'll ever have! Soooo jealous about your cheese making workshop.... ;D
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
