Day 4 and no regrets - Perth
« on: November 13, 2009, 08:00:55 am »
Hello thermomixers

Yes - day 4, 8 recipes completed with 100% success!  Things have certainly changed in my kitchen - I now look forward to planning and cooking meals...lets hope the excitement lasts! (and lets hope the excitement of making dessert wears off!)

I am thrilled that my husband is now a changed man and now loves pasta (cooked from fresh ingredients) and my son is drinking his vegetables (shhh)!

I'm off now to browse for more great ideas and tips (love the onion and garlic peeling),

Thanks
Narelle.

Welcome Narelle from another Perthite. There are lots of us on here. I'm glad that things are going well.

:D Good to see you're having a ball with Ida!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

I regret not having bought a Thermomix 5 years ago- does that count?

As a matter of interest did you know about them 5 years ago Thermomixer?  My first knowledge of them was on Taste about 18 months or more, not that that means anything. I was wondering how widely known they were 5 years ago.

First saw one in Spain in Oct 2003 - so six years ago.  Should have a picture somewhere.

They certainly are very popular with the Spanish - both in domestic kitchens and restaurants.
