I have tried Loose Produce in Como, but it was a bit expensive. Any other suggestions? I am mainly after nuts and dried fruits. I heard there is an Asian shop in Northbridge somewhere that is good, anyone know where it is?

I get mine from Pantry Man in Mandurah but am not sure if they are particularly cheap or not...I haven't found anywhere to compare!
Apparently they are supposed to be opening a new shop in Rockingham City as well but would love to know of other places to be able to get stuff.
I think I have the names of a couple of places that I haven't go to from customers so will dig them out and see if anyone knows of them. I would love some recommended places to go.
I do go to Loose Produce from time to time as at the moment they are the only place that I have been able to buy spelt grains from

www.angryalmond.com.au
are WA only and they have a $3.50 flat postage rated whether you buy 100gm or 100kg
They are the only ones I have used online and I love I don't have to leave the house lol especially with two kids in tow but I also use loose produce for specific stuff.

Thanks for the link Meagan. Just had a browse & their prices seem quite good. The flat shipping cost no matter how much you buy is great.

I think Angry Almond have a stall at the Subiaco Markets as well
I use Loose Produce as its just down the road
also Swansea Street Markets in Vic Park are good for bulk bags of flour and other loose stuff and they have good Italian Arborio rice!

I've only ever used Loose Produce. Will have to check out the Swansea St Markets.

Loose Produce for me too, it's near my dentist! I love it. If I'm in Bunbury I go to Rusticana, but that's fairly expensive. Thanks so much for the online link Meagan, that is awesome for someone like me who's so far from anywhere!

A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

What a great idea, sharing suppliers. Maybe we should do this for all states.
