Yes they do catch on fast and I don't think there is much that he doesn't already know - no need for school - I think straight to University.  As for the noise - right from the start I would say "Big noise Arlo" and warn him first - especially if I was using high speed - so now he loves it.  He repeats everything as he puts it in - onions, carrots, parsley etc.  So perhaps we will make a cook out of him too.

I would love to try this recipe (I'm relatively new in using the Thermomix). Anyway...I'm not sure what you mean by "cut with MC". ??? ??? could you please explain?

The MC is an abbreviation for Measuring Cup that sits on top of the lid of your Thermomix.Instead of a pastry cutter to cutout the scones Nay-nay used the MC/ Measuring Cup to cutout the scones.

When I had the littlies we used to do the thermomix dance, after a warning to expect noise. It made it fun.  Great way to teach him all his verges too.  You're a great Mum.
