I made this last night and we LOVED it.

I used a packet of French Onion Soup mix instead and a small tin of champignon bits and pieces (as well as carrot and cabbage which I chopped whilst the meat and onion were cooking) served on rice.

I think this has become a family favourite.  Thanks for posting!

Seezora,  glad you  liked it.  Can add almost anything.  We like french beans.

This meal was a hit with the Family!!!  I made this many many moons ago when I was still at School in Cooking Classes but of course I'd forgotten all about it.

I am bumping this one for DJ.  Might also make it again myself as it is a good cold weather dish and it is snowing here today.
I think that Judy cuts the cabbage by hand as she likes the long strips.  Will do this also.

Made this today as I needed some small meals for Mum's freezer.  Comfort food at it's best.

This is very similar to a recipe my DH family all make called Ki See Ming, they have family cook offs to see who makes the best. There new thing is to make it into pies, have to tell them about the spring rolls you made JD.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!
