Sorry not to have seen this before...Welcome to the Forum and glad you managed to get someone to find you a recipe for choc chip muffins.
As people have said previously, the UK Thermomix people are usually very helpful. I know they sometimes have problems with their emails, so it may be worth giving them a ring if you don't mind doing so. I am sure they would be disappointed to hear that you are left feeling unsatisfied with your demonstration and it's worth feeding information back to them to avoid it happening in future.
Good luck with your researches - I'm pretty sure you'll gain in confidence with your machine with time and with practice but in the meantime, this is really the best place to try and get help.
