Another convert!
« on: December 09, 2009, 03:35:04 am »
Hello,
I saw Thermomix demonstrated at my retirement village on Monday, and was so stunned by its performance that my order has been placed!  Now I just have to wait until next week......if I can!  I am already planning the things I want to try.
My husband and I are both keen to eat more healthy food, especially after some problems in the last few years, and this looks like the perfect answer for us.
On a personal level, we are both retired teachers.  I have always adored cooking, and entertaining, and this machine is going to make life so much easier as we get a bit older and slower.  No excuses not to continue to have guests!
I look forward to learning heaps from this forum, and even contributing a few ideas from time to time.
Roll on next week!
Karh

Hi Kath and welcome to the forum and the TMX addicts.  What a great idea - giving a demo to a retirement village crowd. There are so many of these popping up all over the place now and perhaps this will give some of our consultants some ideas to follow up on.

Hi Kath and welcome! Another teacher here too!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.
